Lucy Joannides
(Katy & the Nurgla, Pirate School)
Lucy has wanted to be an actress for as long as she can remember and can't imagine doing anything else! After three years at the University of Oxford, where she performed in many plays, Lucy trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts where she learnt a great deal and enjoyed herself immensely. Her love of acting and singing was confirmed prior to this training when she performed with the National Youth Theatre at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith and National Youth Music Theatre at Glyndebourne.
After graduating from Mountview Lucy's first professional acting job saw her performing at The Riverside Studios. Since then she has performed in a number of high profile fringe productions and short films. Last Christmas she played Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk at The Colour House Theatre, Merton Abbey Mills and recently took the role of Gretel in Hansel and Gretel at The Sevenoaks Playhouse.
